OUR TEACHERS

Samantha Corbit
I'm an introverted lover of people and strive to share from that place in my heart to allow a space of self healing through the practice of yoga. I'd be on the beach every day if I could...coffee in one hand and a glass of wine in the other!

Maggie Olds
I am a wife, momma, vinyasa lover, creator, vegetarian eating, always learning & spreading light. Yoga is what grounds me. The practice of doing the healing work on the mat to share and spread the love off the mat.

Allie Jones
I am a forever student. My love of nature, animals, learning, and yoga are what ground me and what drive me forward. I love the balance between a contemplative yin class and a flow class that moves my body and has a fun playlist. Life is an adventure and I’m ready to explore it - as long as I have my dogs, snacks, and comfy shoes.

Abby Osborn
2nd grade teacher, dog momma, building a business, and lover of the outdoors. I knew early on in my yoga journey that I needed to share the practice that has given me so much. Holding space, connecting with others, sharing how to truly tune into self. While also having fun, probably holding boat pose for a bit too long, and most importantly showing up authentically, so that others feel safe to do the same. Forever learn

Amber VandeStreek
I love that yoga is a versatile lifelong practice - there’s always more to explore and learn as I grow & evolve. For me, it’s uplifting and grounding both on and off my mat. I love creating playlists to share in the classes I guide and PG-13+ quirky humor might be involved. Yoga offers different forms of comfort in each time you practice and I think that’s beyond beautiful.

Ania Naomi
Find me at YC teaching “HIIT and Yoga Fusion” and “Yin and Yoga Nidra”… as a true libra, I am all about balancing the scales to find center.

Christine Simon
Christine Simon brings fun energy and bold intention to everything she does — on and off the mat. By day, she works in public affairs, helping organizations navigate big ideas and even bigger conversations. In the studio, she’s all about creating space to breathe, reset, and build strength from the inside out. Christine believes yoga should feel empowering, welcoming, and maybe even a little fun — because growth happens best when you don’t take yourself too seriously.

Eileen Lerma

Emily Horvath
Like many people, Emily first came to yoga expecting a physical practice. But it wasn't long before she discovered what she truly needed: the mental clarity and spiritual depth that yoga's inner path has to offer. Today, Emily's teaching is rooted in the last four limbs of yoga — pratyahara, dharana, dhyana, and samadhi — guiding students toward mindfulness and meditation. Emily believes that anyone who has ever stepped onto a mat searching for something more has already begun the journey inward.

Emily Southworth
Emily’s passion for dance and feel-good movement drives the creative energy she brings to barre class. When she’s not at Yoga Connect or working as a speech-language pathologist, she can be found spending time with her family and husband Up North, dog-sitting, or reading a good book.

Erin Mann
When she’s not holding space in the studio or hosting retreats, you’ll find her traveling, chasing sunshine, sipping good tea, and hanging with her teenager (when mom gets on the schedule).

Fatima Rudd
Curiosity led me to my first yoga class in 2000. What began as a fitness goal transformed into a lifelong practice, eventually leading me to my RYT-200 certification from Salt Yoga in 2020. Rooted in the Ashtanga Vinyasa lineage, I lead both high-energy, challenging flows and mindful movement with a heart-centered focus on balancing power, ease, and playfulness on the mat. I can't wait to meet you there! Om Shanti✨️

Kavya Tumbalam
Hello!!! My name is Kavya and I am a junior at MSU! I have been practicing at the lovely yoga connect for almost 5 years and I love it so much. My favorite things are sunshine, coffee, and a powerful hot vinyasa class🌞💫💛

Kelly Gallagher
I’ve been teaching yoga for 10 years and live for a sweaty hot vinyasa flow. My classes are strong, fluid, and never take themselves too seriously—movement should feel powerful and fun. I’m currently expanding into strength training and loving how seamlessly it pairs with yoga. Together, they build stability, mobility, and real-world strength. Expect thoughtful sequencing, strong energy, and a playlist that keeps things moving. Come ready to sweat, feel strong, and leave feeling better than when you walked

Nate Pavwoski
Nate has been practicing yoga for years and loves how it keeps him steady through life’s busy seasons. When he’s not at the studio, you’ll find him with his wife and son, planning the next trip, or enjoying a Michigan summer by the lake.

Taylor Wolf
I started my yoga journey in 2015 right after graduating college and quickly fell in love with the practice. I earned my 200 hour certification in 2016 and have been teaching ever since, and in 2023 I completed my kids yoga certification while living in Traverse City. Now that I’m back in Haslett, I’m so grateful to be teaching locally and leading my toddler yoga class, Namaste & Play, creating spaces to move, breathe, and connect. 🤍
