Ayurveda is an ancient system of medicine that originated in India over 5,000 years ago. In this 2 hour workshop, you will discover the meaning of the word “Ayurveda” and how it applies to every aspect of daily living. Ayurveda provides a practical and rather intuitive framework for living in harmony with one’s self, one’s community and the environment.
You will learn about the five elements and three doshas according to Ayurveda. You will come away knowing which doshic type reflects your own tendencies toward balance or imbalance. This knowledge acts like a portal into understanding one’s own self authentically and fully. Equipt with this new (yet ancient) knowledge, the path to wellness becomes clear. You will leave this workshop with practical tools regarding food and lifestyle that you can begin to incorporate immediately.
Find tools to incorporate into your self care/daily routine that will support your body for the winter season.
