Join Yoga Alliance Continuing Education Provider, Elissa Voigt for our YA accredited 30-Hour Aerial Yoga Teacher Training, January 2025! This form of yoga uses an adjustable hammock to support postures and make inversions safe and accessible. Aerial yoga is beneficial for beginners and advanced students alike. Training with Prerana Yoga is the opportunity to transition your practice into the air, develop a deep understanding of how to utilize gravity in posture, and become a more connected and dynamic teacher.
CURRICULUM - PRERANA TRAINING MODULE #2: AERIAL YOGA FOUNDATIONS, Taking Root to Fly:
Learn how to guide students and masterfully negotiate the following:Aerial Foundations curriculum empowers students with the anatomy, physiology, teaching skills, and safety requirements necessary to become a successful aerial yoga instructor. Understanding the anatomy and physiology involved in using the support system of the aerial fabric will deepen your existing knowledge of human movement and yoga posture. Most importantly, you will be able to use this knowledge to become more adept at understanding and addressing your students issues. Aerial yoga provides an intense and challenging learning environment, from both the perspective of student and teacher. Prerana Aerial Foundations allows you to navigate the multiple learning styles and comfort zones of your students while keeping your room safe, inspired and working towards their goals.

Prerana Aerial Yoga Teacher Training hours count as continued education credits towards Yoga Alliance RYT requirements. While you do not need to be Yoga Teacher Certified to take our courses, you must have training as a yoga teacher in order to receive an endorsement.
